Food for Soft Hydrating Shampoo targets your clients' dry hair and instantly transforms it for touchable soft results, providing 7x more moisture for up to 72 hours when used as a system of Food For Soft Shampoo, Conditioner, or Mask & Oil vs non-conditioning shampoo.

What Else You Need to Know

• Food For Soft is a professional hydrating haircare range that targets dry hair and instantly transforms it for touchable soft results.

 

• Food For Soft is suitable for all dry, porous hair types and textures. It is infused with avocado oil, which can add lightweight moisture, and hyaluronic acid, a known humectant that provides moisture and can retain a balance of lipids and proteins.

 

• Food For Soft can be used on 100% human hair extensions in which the cuticle has not been altered from its original state prior to purchase. Apply product to the human hair portion of the weft only avoiding any points of adhesion.

 

• Food For Soft is suitable for color-treated hair and can be used from that point on and at home between coloring appointments. This product features a fragrance with top notes of toffee, hawthorn, and freesia.

Apply a quarter size amount of product, lather and rinse. In case of contact with eyes, rinse them immediately. Follow with Conditioner or Treatment Mask & oil

It lathered really nice and didn't have to use a lot of product. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because I don't love the scent.

It has a slight baby powder fresh smell to it that the other products in the line don't have. Great shampoo. Does what it says. I would definitely recommend to anyone with dry or brittle hair needing some life back into it. But I would love a different scent—more like the deep conditioner or oil.

Great for right after lightening services. The mask was amazing for super dry hair to give it that extra hydration and made it so easy to brush through afterwards. The oil was also hydrating and smoothing but not too heavy!

You feel a difference in the hair just use this shampoo even before you use the conditioner or mask! You only need a very small amount out this shampoo otherwise you are wasting it. It soaps up a lot! Make the hair feel in better condition in one shampoo but doesn't weigh the hair down. This is a fantastic addition to the matrix line! Will definitely adding this to my retail inventory at the salon.

She struggles with finding a shampoo and conditioner that does not leave her hair looking greasy within the same day. This shampoo and conditioner not only smell's great it makes her hair so soft. Her hair was not greasy right away, even when she woke up the next morning it looked great.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Adding to my rotation! I recently received Matrix Food For Soft Shampoo in exchange for my honest review and I feel so grateful that I did! I don't know if I would have purchased this product without having received it for free first, but I am so glad it found its way to me! The packing is so so cute. I love the colors they chose and it's giving me like 90's teen nostalgia. The smell alone is reason enough to repurchase. It's a nice thick lather, leaves my hair feeling not overly stripped, but still clean. This is one of the least stripping shampoos I've used, where I'm not urgently reaching for my conditioner bottle in the shower thinking to myself quick get this mop some moisture STAT. It's a really good product I thought I was going to let my girls keep this one for their hair because they also love the "pretty" packaging and "yummy"scent, but it might just need to be shared amongst us because I find myself still reaching for it. My oldest daughter has THICK curly hair that is a job in itself to brush through and handle, but this line has made the job noticeably easier and those curls even cuter than normal.

The smell of the shampoo is so nice, the lather was perfect. It did feel "soft". Moisturized my thick frizzy hair well. Highly recommend.
