Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best styling product in all my years as a barber! Overachiever is my all time favorite styling product! I can’t keep it on the shelf in our barber shop. I use it on dry hair for adding texture to fine or hard to hold hair. Just a small amount in the front to style a pompadour or use it for spiking short hair. This has a soft, creamy texture but is tacky when you use it. Washes out easily and not waxy. I couldn’t find it very often and now I see they’ve redesigned the packaging and it’s back on the shelves! I hope they never discontinue this product!

It looks like a wax but goes on more like a gel cream. Holds SPECTACULARLY. I cut the back of my clients hair just a tiny bit too short so it was sticking up, slapped a dime size of this on it and COULD NOT EVEN TELL. Worth ALL the hype. I'm definitely keeping this in stock at my shop.

If you can work fast or heat the product up first, it would probably be ok. Tested it on my son, who has wavy/curly hair. Its best suited for straight hair, but I needed a model:)

It's a looser goopy type consistency so I would recommend keeping it laying flat. A little goes a long way, it's on the heavier side so start off with less.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Ehh…. Matrix over achiever 3 in 1 feels silky to the touch ,but its very sticky. The smell is ok. We tried it on my husband and it made his hair very tacky. Let's just put it this way I'm not able to run my fingers through his hair with this product. If that's what you or your client are looking for it works . It's not what I'm looking for in a product of this type.

I used a pea size amount of product, warmed it in my hands and used to smooth down my flyaways and define my natural waves. I immediately loved it!! And then loved it more the next day when I noticed there was zero residue left from the day before usage! 10/10 highly recommend.
