Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Consistency, Smooth Application I do like this clay lightener. The consistency is great and make for a super smooth application. It is easy to feather and blend. The hair was in great condition after use. It also smells very nice. I mixed with 30 vol and left on for 50 minutes. I got about 3-4 levels of lift on human mannequin hair, which does tend to me a little harder to lift. So overall I would liked to have seen a little bit more lift, but this is definitely a great product for soft lifting and a natural sun kissed look.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Okay for getting the job done I wasn't completely blown away. I would recommend the product for a decent clay lightener. I most likely will not purchase the product for myself because it does what what I already use does. Overall it was a good product just not enough to wow me to switch to it. In a pinch I would get it because I have now used it before.

It mixes so well and glides on the hair with ease, all while giving you a precision application! Also no transfer between sections! I got great results and the hair felt great after rinsing out.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great consistency Wow! I have to admit I'm not a fan of clay lighteners BUT this one definitely got me! I love the creamy consistency it has, the mixing was so easy. Absolutely no clumps when mixing. Painting was a breeze, the product just glided right on and the lift was fantastic. This might be my new go to for my balayage.

The consistency was perfect for a balayage so I might use this product on my next custom wig. Typically, I use Wella, Joico and Redken. This was my first experience with L'Oréal ad it won't be my last

I see how someone would like the consistency but I do mostly foiling vs open air techniques. I would recommend this product to someone else looking for open air clay lightener.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Smells lovely! I love the consistency and smell of this bleach!! I've used it on a few clients and on my own hair (naturally medium blonde). I felt like it didn't lift as fast or high as I expected even though it says 7 levels. I'll still use it though and probably try the 8 next time.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A neat product So I want to preface this by saying I've never used a clay lightener before. This product is different than I thought it was going to be. The texture was a lot thicker than I though and wasn't as runny as normal bleach. I imagine it would be great for balayage like it says, I however just did normal highlights. It doesn't lighten at much as some other bleaches, but you can always tone if you want. The scent is also nice. It's almost perfumy, not ammoniay. I wasn't expecting that.

Love the consistency compared to other clay based lighteners. And it doesn't lose the lifting power in open air processing which is great.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Lightener for Balayage I have used many different types of clay lighteners for balayage and I'm not really partial to one over another, but L'Oreal Clay 7 is a top contender! The product has a great consistency once it mixes with the developer. It also had a fragrant pleasant smell which is really unexpected when it comes to bleach powders. The lightener went onto the hair well and I processed the hair for the maximum processing time - which yielded beautifully sun-kissed results. I did an open air balayage on a model with level 7 virgin hair and she lifted easily and quickly to a warm level toned. I toned her with a violet toner and achieved the perfect beachy low maintenance look.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love the levels of Lift I absolutely loved this lightener. It was easy to mix and apply, with no odor! The only 2 concerns I had were: 1. Mine pulled very warm. I used this on a mannequin so I did not have body heat and per instructions did not use heat so that could be why though. 2. It seemed like I needed more product than usual. I did a global blonding in which you really saturate the hair however. At the end of the day I will continue to use this because the level of lift it supplied while being able to keep the quality of the hair wins me over.

This is the first time I've tried a Loreal product, I am very picky when it comes to choosing a new product and I have been using the same lightener for a few years now, I have tried a similar product, Relights by Wella. To be honest, I did not like Relights because I felt that It wouldn't give me enough lift, the consistency of Relights wasn't great and after trying it out a few times, I never bought it again. With this product I have to say that at a 1:1/12 mixing ratio for free hand balayage, it worked wonders, I feel that it gives more lift than other clay lighteners. Another thing I have noticed is that without adding any Olaplex, it left the hair feeling healthy. I used this product with some of my clients and on myself as well, for myself I did some regular highlights in foils, for this mixture, I did a 1:2 mixing ratio, and hooo surprised, it did lifted more than my usual blondor, I used the 30 Volume that came with the package, And I did not use Olaplex on my formula either. For my other client, I did some highlights in foils and for her formula I did a 1:2 mixing ratio adding Olaplex. She is a level 8 base color with blonde highlights all over and she wanted to add more blonde to her hair, so I gave Loreal Blond studio a try and I love the blonde tone it gave her, it was just perfect, I like it better than the blondor I usually use. I am recommending this product, and I have been talking about it on my social media, I even have a group on Facebook where I share product knowledge to my friends, clients and family. I am brutally honest when it comes to recommend a product. Thank you for sending me this products, I appreciate the opportunity to try different products.

I tried it on virgin Asian hair for a balayage with Saran Wrap and I was disappointed. Didn't get much lift. I used it on virgin level 6 balayage with Saran and it was great. I have mixed feelings about this product and need to use it more to decide.
