I used it with the same conditioner and my hair turned out really soft. After a few washes I noticed it looking and feeling more healthy.

After giving this product several uses(combined with the other products, as is advised) I have noticed a HUGE difference in my hair. To my curly damaged hair girls out there, don't give up! This may be what your hair is needing...worth considering even just if you've got extremely over processed hair from color damage. It gives your hair a nice healthy feeling, you can get your fingers through it without getting stuck after a couple consecutive uses. I know that has the same hair needs but this is worth trying for any damaged hair.

I immediately noticed my hair did not become dry and tangled during the cleansing process. My hair is natural, color treated and tends to get very frizzy. Rated 5 out of 5 by from No stripped hair or color... I'm really enjoying Redken's Acidic Bonding Concentrate shampoo, which I received as a free sample to evaluate. I received the full line, and used this shampoo in conjunction with the conditioner and leave-in treatment. I used all three, sometimes together and sometimes separately. The first thing I noticed was that it smells terrific. I have alopecia and wear wigs of different textures and colors. I used this shampoo on several units that I bleached and colored using various semipermanent dyes. The shampoo lathered really nicely, and while I know lather doesn't necessarily mean cleaning powter, but I think a good lather just feels luxurious, and this fit the bill. I used it on two straight, two wavy, and one curly/coily unit, mostly color treated, and a couple pretty fried because they're older units I use to practice dyeing and styling. I have been happy to note I lose very little color with this shampoo. My hair also feels really good after using it, and my hair, no matter the texture, doesn't feel stripped or extra tangly. I've used it a couple times without the conditioner when pressed for drying time, and was pleased. I found the scent lasts a nice long while, my hair is still soft, and even without conditioner, the frizz and flyaways weren't horrible, even on a straight unit. Definitely a solid quality shampoo.
