Apply Hair Cleansing Cream to wet hair and lather. Rinse. Repeat, if necessary.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Incredible Clarifying Shampoo The Redken Hair Cleansing Cream is great to use once a week to remove any product build up especially when you are using a dry shampoo. I recently switched to washing my hair only twice a week and so it works out great to use this for one of the shampoos . It made my hair feel really clean but not dry like some clarifiers can. I put this on in the shower and leave it on for 10 min then rinse and then i condition. I highly recommend this clarifier,

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My favorite clarifying shampoo I love this shampoo more than all the others I have tried. Most others tend to make the hair feel stripped and almost dry. This one feels conditioned and manageable. As a hairstylist I find it crucial to use this before coloring or highlighting. Any type of build up on the hair makes it difficult to have even or healthy results. If you have hard water, swim or have even a couple days old dirty hair, make sure you clarify. The chemicals in water can mixed dangerously with color and lightener, resulting in damage or uneven tone. Buildup of shampoos, conditioners and styling products can become a barrier for color and it may not penetrate or take evenly. I make my tween son use this also. Mostly because he doesn't wash his hair well enough and I think this helps cut through his natural oils and grossness. I like to use this once every week or two also, just to give my hair a clean slate and remove any buildup so my hair styles better and has more volume. It is gentle on fine hair, safe for color, an all around fantastic product. I recommend this product to everyone!

I love this shampoo so much. If you accidentally stain your hair with purple shampoo, this shampoo gets it all out evenly. If you accidentally tone your hair a color you hate. This shampoo fades the hair so much faster than any other clarifying shampoo. I 100% recommend this and have already bought more and given them as gifts.

It reminds me of fresh sunflowers with a touch of honey. While you are shampooing you will notice that is suds well and the bubbles are quite small. It gentles removes buildup from the hair strands and loosens build up from the scalp. It is so gentle on the hair.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Gentle Clarifying I love Redken hair cleansing cream. The fragrance is mild and citrusy. It lathers well and offers a really great clean without drying out the hair. I wash once a week, and some weeks, I use more styling product than others. When I feel like I have a lot of buildup, I reach for the hair cleansing cream and I'm left with a soft, shiny, gently cleansed canvas for the next week of styling. I also love using it on my guests who wash infrequently, or workout a lot, or have a more oily scalp. It does the trick every time.

It doesn't leave your hair as matted feeling as some clarifying shampoo's do. My hair had more body after using it. For people that use a lot of product in their hair, I think it will help get the product off the hair. You can leave it in your hair for 5-10 minutes. It smells clean and fresh.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Clean hair while moisturizing Love the packaging it comes in. Looks like more than 8oz so it feels you are getting more for your money. First thing I noticed was the clean grapefruit smell but what was most impressive was you could actually see the shampoo was going to moisturize but does it clarify? The answer is YES. I didn't wash my for 5 days and had at least 3 days of hairspray. The other days my hair was up. I usually use baking soda with my shampoo to clarify so was very curious how this was going to work. To my surprise it lathered up on the very first shampoo. I shampooed again because it had been 5 days and then left on for a minute. Rinsed off the use conditioner. I typically have to use a leave in but I was able to comb through my hair the same ease without using it. It also didn't feel 'stripped' as it normally does with baking soda. All in all I'm very impressed with the Detox and will definitely recommend and use.

I am the type of person I have to wash my hair everyday because the next day it is oily and I am not able to take it to work like that. Now I have never tried any other detoxifying shampoo, but this thing made my hair be able to last the next day with my hair straightened and not oily. I was really wowed by that because I have never been able to do that. But on the other hand I have crazy colors in my hair and it did take some of the vibrancy out of my hair, but I got to say that's the only downside. Overall I liked it definitely recommend.

I have pinky colors in my hair and I dont Feel like it strips the color too much. This is not Sulfate-free but will still be relatively gentle on color treated hair.
