Apply Hair Cleansing Cream to wet hair and lather. Rinse. Repeat, if necessary.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Made my blonde brighter I was a little worried my hair would feel dry/starchy after using, but just my ends felt a little dry, but nothing to extreme. I wouldn't recommend for daily use, but definitely weekly, especially if people have bad water. When in the shower, my hair didn't feel like straw or stripped, like I have experienced with other products. In the end, it's a good product, not too harsh or heavy, and made my hair feel and look better after using.

It rinses so clean and leaves scalp and hair feeling refreshed and build up free! I took a photo of my second day hair which I never do because I usually have oily roots but not with this!

I use a lot of gels, creams and oils in my kinky curly hair and this cleanses my hair without making it feel straw like! I then follow up with a moisturizing shampoo and conditioner!

Just can't use all the time because it does dry your hair a little, as it is stripping and clarifying it. Also be careful with colored hair specially fantasy colors! Unless you want to get rid of the color, then it's a great option.

It wasn't too drying on my clients hair, compared to other clarifying shampoos and left the hair feeling soft and shiny. I did two washes with the shampoo and paired it with Redken's Color Extend Conditioner.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A clarifying shampoo that won't dry out your hair I used this shampoo in my salon. The first client I used the product on was having her tape in extensions removed and reapplied that day. I used this shampoo after using adhesive remover on her hair. Adhesive remover smells badly and leaves the hair incredibly greasy. I did have to shampoo twice, but there was no grease left on the hair afterward. It did leave behind some solid glue remnants, but they combed out easily. I used a light conditioner on her and then blow dried with no product. In spite of not putting significant moisture back into the hair after shampooing her hair still felt soft and did not appear dried out at all. The second client I used the shampoo on is a woman that uses excessive oil on her hair. In the past I've shampooed her 3 times in a row to remove the buildup. It barely took two washes for her hair to feel completely clean. Again her hair did not feel dried out after use of this cleansing cream. It does have a similar smell to most clarifying shampoos, but isn't overpowering. I will continue to use this shampoo over the previous clarifying shampoo I had been using.

My hair felt squeaky clean but not overly dried out. Some clarifying shampoos I have used in the past made my hair feel dry, but not this one. I try to deep clean my hair at least once a week because I use lots of hair products in my hair and this is now my go to, to keep my hair feeling soft and buildup free. I work in a Studio Salon and would highly recommend this Shampoo to anyone who wants a good deep cleaning for their hair. Overall I love this Shampoo!

After using it, I noticed that my hair was much softer and more manageable. Also, it smells like fresh oranges too, so it's a great experience to use in the shower!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Preserves hair integrity I really dig this clarifying shampoo. It works really well and doesn't dry the hair out like most clarifying shampoos. I also really liked the scent, it's like that "classic Redken scent". It may be a tad too heavy for clients with super fine hair, as it will weigh it down. This shampoo is thick like a cream, which is awesome because like I'd previously mentioned, it doesn't dry the hair out, yet manages to thoroughly cleanse the scalp.

I hadn't realized how much product & mineral build up I had in my hair until I washed with Redken Detox Hair Cleaning Cream. Like most women, I use dry shampoo more days a week than I actually wash my hair. And after just one wash I could instantly feel how clean my hair was. My hair felt softer, was easier to blow dry and maintained its style longer than usual. I can't wait to start using this product in the salon before a color service to see the difference it makes with the color process after removing all the build up.

It felt like it was doing a good job when I was using it but after my hair was dry it seemed to do what all other shampoos typically do. I also felt like I had to shampoo my hair sooner than expected after using it versus when I use my regular shampoos.

With past experiences, I would realize my hair would get tangled immediately after rinsing the clarifying shampoo. However, after using this shampoo it's definitely something I want to have stocked. I let it sit in my hair for about 5 minutes before rinsing due to not washing my hair for about 3-4 days, having thermal protectant, Rikoko balm and dry shampoo. Immediately after rinsing, my hair felt really clean but remained soft and moisturized. Amazing product! Would definitely buy again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing hydrating clarifyer! I love this product! Most clarifying shampoos leave the hair dry feeling, this one is so hydrating which is so great for already dry hair! My hair is very wavy and chemically treated, so it's also dry. This shampoo removed buildup while still leaving my hair feeling strong, healthy and hydrated. I have tried other clarifiers and they just ruin my waves and dry my hair out. I would 10/10 recommend. It's not too heavy for fine hair, like mine, and I think it gives just the right amount of hydration. My waves have never looked better! Normally when I get out of the shower, after my hair dries it is fluffy and frizzy. As you will see in the pictures, they are very defined and this is all from the shampoo! Definitely worth getting again!
