It lathers beautifully. I used it on significantly dirty hair and it only required one lather. It made my hair so soft and shiny. I am still using it and will purchase again.

The first thing I noticed was the scent, it's a light, clean, slightly floral scent that is so light that both can be used by female or male. The shampoo was instantly a thick, rich, foamy lather with the first shampoo when it has to work it's hardest to get rid of the extra oil and dirt build up! It's not so thin that you accidentally squeeze too much from the bottle. Perfect portion. And my hair felt squeaky clean after the second shampoo! It did leave my hair a bit stiff and tangled though. I did notice a bit of volume as well. I have tried cheaper volume enhancing shampoos that didn't leave my hair feeling coarse and dry. I'd probably buy those before I bought Redken.

I have tried numerous styling creams, mousee, texturizing sprays etc etc and this is the first thing I've found that has finally worked for me. Redken gained a lifelong fan from me!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from ☆☆☆Another winner by Redken 5th Ave NYC☆☆☆ I will start by saying I am a fan of Redken products as a whole. The Volume Injection Shampoo for Fine Hair did not disappoint. The scent was amazing & boy did this shampoo lather! You definitely do not need much product to get a nice, foamy lather. My hair seemed to be shinier after using the shampoo as well, which is a huge plus for me, & something I don't find as often as I would like to. Lastly, my fine, thin, processed hair did have more body immediately after I washed it. However, I didn't notice much of a difference the following day. Not to say it doesn't do what it promises to do, I personally simply didn't get extended results. Not a deal breaker, by any means. I still enjoyed the shampoo & will definitely continue using it & will purchase it in the future.

This one lathered nicely, rinsed out easy, but left my hair feeling soft, not dried out. I couldn't believe how great it looked after I blow dried it, it actually had volume and was not flat. My hair was soft, had volume and bounce to it.

I have tried many volumizing shampoos, but I like Redken Volume Injection because it is specifically formulated for fine hair. It has a light floral-rose scent, which I love. It makes you smell good even if you don't wear perfume. It is easy to lather and feels luxurious! I would purchase and recommend this product to friends and family, I believe Redken Volume Injection to be the best volume shampoo I've tried so far!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it! I definitely recommend the Redken Volume Injection Shampoo and Conditioner. It is for fine, flat or processed hair. I have all three. The shampoo lathers very well, with just a small amount. I only need a small amount for the conditioner too. They leave my hair smelling amazing and feeling very soft. My hair does not seem as flat after using both. I can see more volume. The shampoo has 1% bodifying complex and the conditioner 2%. This is very helpful for us that wear glasses. I usually have a hard time differentiating shampoo from conditioner. All I have to do is look for 1 and I know it is the shampoo, 2 and I know it is the conditioner. I wonder if this was done intentionally.

I've tried so many products, added hair vitamins & supplements to my diet but it just always looks so flat. I was a little skeptical trying these out but I know Redken makes high quality products. This shampoo & conditioner didn't disappoint! My limp, thin hair had body! It's also gentle and worked well with my colored hair. I would buy this again.

I love the way it leaves my hair feeling after using this, and it has a salon type of smell which I also love. While I love this product and will continue using it, I don't honestly see much of a difference in the volume in my hair after using this vs another product. If you're looking for a great shampoo and conditioner from a trusted brand, look no farther. I'm just not convinced it lives up to the claim of volumizing.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A Solid Product So there was that one time in my teens that Redkin actually saved my hair. No, really! I had the absolute worst perm ever and my hair was literally breaking off at the root, their products reconstituted my melting hair and kept it from fall out. Based on that alone, I was totally willing to give their volumizing shampoo (and conditioner) a try. I really liked the soft, subtle scent of the shampoo; no heavy perfumy smell that overpowers. It's thick, rich, and suds nicely. After using it for 3 weeks or so, I appreciate how soft my hair feels and after a recent haircut, the difference was obvious. My hair is fine so I'm always looking for ways to add volume. The jury is still out on that with this product. It certainly didn't add weight to my hair but I'm not sure just how much volume it added. Is it a solid product? You bet! It leaves your hair looking and feeling great with perhaps a bit more volume. But given the length of my hair, that may be why additional volume may not be quite so obvious.
