Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not CG Approved I have type 2b wavy hair and I follow the curly girl method. Unfortunately this shampoo has sulfates and drying alcohol in its ingredients so I can't use it on my hair. I gave it away to my mom who has straight hair and she have complained about it yet.

It didn't strip any of the color out of my hair either. My red hair is just as vibrant as the day I dyed it. I will absolutely be purchasing more of this shampoo and conditioner.

So when I had the chance to try this volume shampoo by Redken I was super excited. It has none of the bad ingredients and no silicone. At first I didn't think it would give me much volume because these shampoos typically have weird chemicals that leave your hair sticky. But this one was so different. I hadn't tried Redken except at a salon so I wasn't sure what to expect. Very pleasantly surprised! It smells amazing, lathered beautifully, and rinsed clean. My hair looks gorgeous! I have a ton of long hair but it's fine and gets weighed down. Not with this shampoo. I found a new holy grail and can't wait to share with my teen daughter! Not to mention, the bottle is such a lovely shade and looks stunning in my bathroom!

I also liked the way it made my hair feel clean after. I did notice this Shampoo and Conditioner did add some extra volume without any weight. I wouldn't recommend this product with people that have hair that is coily-curly. I have hair in between coily- curly and with the Volume Injection Conditioner. It took me up to 45 minutes each time to brush my hair out. Otherwise if you have that much time to brush your hair for that long. I highly recommend it. For those of you with Straight or wavy hair. I highly recommend this product. You will love it.

I do have wavy hair but very thin so when i straighten it normally it's pretty flat. But with this shampoo not really having that issue anymore.

My hair is thin and wavy and I feel like this shampoo provides me with the volume I need. Sometimes the volume leads to frizz, but I use an oil-based serum to fix the problem. I knocked a star off because I am not a fan of the scent, but that isn't a deal-breaker for me. Ultimately, I would recommend this product to people who have thin hair and need volume.

Instead of big volume I got really soft hair that wouldn't hold any curl. The smell was great and I didn't have any frizz but did not get the volume I was expecting.

It smells great, cleans my hair with one wash using about a nickel sized dollop, and washes out without leaving a residue. I've been using a comparable product from another brand for years, but may switch to this one since it is $5 cheaper and just as good. I find that when my hair air dries, it provides body and texture that I don't normally have in my fine and straight hair. When I heat style, I get lift at the root and the hairstyle stays good overnight.

All my other Redken hair products work wonders on my hair, and Redken Volume Injection Shampoo & Conditioner are no exception. The shampoo lathers up thick and rich, with a very mild scent. It feels like it's coating every one of my strands! It rinses clean and leaves my hair looking and feeling amazing! I followed up the shampoo with the Redken Volume Injection conditioner. I was SO impressed with the way both made my hair feel silky smooth, shiny, but also bouncy! My hair usually just hangs limp and straight, with no body whatsoever. Now, thanks to Redken Volume Injection Shampoo, I can have healthy hair that looks good and feels even better! I followed up with Redken styling products, and I noticed when I curled my hair, my curls were bouncier and bigger! My hair still had that sleek, shiny look all other Redken products deliver, but this time with a boost of volume that makes every day a good hair day! I highly recommend this to anyone that wants their lifeless locks to come back to life healthier and better than ever!
