It has a nice light vanilla clean scent in my opinion and it lathers pretty well, which is a plus for my long thick hair compared to other brands I have tried. It leaves my damaged hair feeling soft and revived. Benefits of this duo is that it really works and the brand is great for a salon experience! I do see myself buying more of this product!

Having used Redken products for years, I decided to give this product a try. It works amazingly well to strengthen my hair, and keep it from appearing so dry and brittle. The Redken Extreme Shampoo paired with the Redken Extreme Contitioner make my hair feel smooth from the final rinse and throughout the day.

I've been using the Redken Extreme Shampoo & Conditioner for Damaged Hair for a while, and I *think* the number of split ends is down a bit, but it's certainly not repairing anything. There's no noticeable difference.

After about one month I definitely feel and see an improvement! My hair is silky smooth feeling and flyaways from breakage are diminished. I wear my hair back for work so feel this contributes to the breakage issue. I really like the fragrance too - it is soft and maybe a hint of vanilla but bit too much which I like!

It left it feeling a lot cleaner than a lot of other expensive brands shampoo do. It gives you that extra clean hair feeling that you get when you are shampooing your hair and you get that sound that sounds like your fingers are squeaking on it as you scrub your scalp. I highly recommend this shampoo.

My curls are soft & healthy looking The new bottle is great, easier to hold onto in the shower, I can see how much is in the bottle instead of guessing. The shampoo is creamy, and I actually like the smell not sweet fruity but very nice! Lathers up good and I don't have to use a handful. Will definitely buy more!

The shampoo moisturizes my hair without leaving my scalp greasy! I am impressed with this formula and I would recommend it for those who could use some strength and moisture!

I have tried every kind of shampoo in the past for oily, dry, frizzy, damaged hair, etc. and they only improve my hair a little after the first use. The Redken extreme transformed my hair and my complete outlook on my hair care!! After first use my hair felt like it had a spa day!! It is still so incredibly soft and shiny and smooth! It has a wonderful light fragrance and doesn't weigh my hair down at all. I'm obsessed!! I will continue to buy this in the future, and have told all my friends and family!!

It produces a good lather and though it doesn't specify on the bottle, as many shampoos do, I chose to lather, rinse and repeat. My head and hair both feel very clean. Other shampoo often doesn't lather or leave me feeling like it got all the styling product out of my hair. Redken has done a great job of formulating a shampoo that makes my entire head and hair feel better than any other product has in years.

I have naturally curly/wavy hair and this also really helped my curl pattern and cut down the frizz even while living in crazy humid Michigan. It smells great too which is ALWAYS a big plus.
