I have oily roots and dry, damaged ends so I was hoping this shampoo would not make my hair weighed down or greasy and it did not. It also does not have a smell which I was pleased with since some shampoos can have such a powerful odor. This shampoo sudsed up nicely and I felt it did a great job detoxing my scalp.

I can't believe it still smells & feels the same as it did back then. I have moved on to color-safe clarifying shampoos and purple shampoos to maintain my platinum color, but it was nice to try this old friend again. I will definitely use up the bottle, and I do believe this is still a quality shampoo for distressed hair. It leaves my thick coarse hair feeling clean and strengthened. Just remember that protein is great, but your hair needs to moisture as well to stay balanced. Happy washing.
