It has a nice light vanilla clean scent in my opinion and it lathers pretty well, which is a plus for my long thick hair compared to other brands I have tried. It leaves my damaged hair feeling soft and revived. The conditioner comes out easy and smooths over my wet hair as well as rinses out great! Benefits of this duo is that it really works and the brand is great for a salon experience! I do see myself buying more of this product!

After 8 hours in the salon having dark color stripped off my hair, and my hair bleached in effort to be colored gray to match my roots, I was in dire need of a deep contitioning shampoo and conditioner. The Redken Extreme Strength Repair conditioner is spot on. You can feel the conditioning right when you apply, and when rinsed off, it leaves my hair feeling so smooth and conditioned. I definitely recommend this product if you have damaged and dry hair.

I've been using the Redken Extreme Shampoo & Conditioner for Damaged Hair for a while, and I *think* the number of split ends is down a bit, but it's certainly not repairing anything. There's no noticeable difference.

It may be that since it has the name extreme, I was expecting extreme results. But my actual results ended up being short of extreme but at the same time not under normal results of every other conditioner. I do haven't complaint about the labeling on the bottle. You really shouldn't have the word shampoo anywhere on the front of the label of a conditioner bottle because whenever you are in the shower and you already have soap in your eyes and all you see is the word shampooing when you pick up the bottle of conditioner to say the least my hair didn't feel very clean the first time I used it. All I saw was the word shampooing and on my hair it went roots and all.

I had high hopes for this conditioner from Redken given the name of "Extreme" and that it designed as a strength repair regimen for damaged hair with added protein. I did not find that it conditioned any better than any of the drugstore conditioners I have used over the years. Yes, it conditioned my hair and made it so I could easily brush through it after my shower. After two weeks of use, I do not feel like my hair is any stronger as evidenced by frizz and fly-away hair. In fact, my hair seems to lack the shine I previously had when using a product that was sulfate-free, which the Redken conditioner is not.

I have naturally curly/wavy hair that is horrendous to comb out in the shower and always wants to frizz. This along with the shampoo truly helped tame my frizz and made my hair feel SUPER soft. My hair typically feels coarse and dry but this is making a huge difference. I will be back for MORE!

I really enjoyed the Redken shampoo and conditioner and definitely feel like it's helping my hair strengthen. But the conditioner seems to leave my hair a bit slippery and slightly oily when dry. I've used it several times with the same results. I think it would probably be better for folks with dry or brittle hair.

My hair is so soft and I haven't had any problems brushing right through it after my shower. I color my hair so it has some damage. This conditioner actually repairs my hair. It looks amazing and healthy. Its a thick conditioner so a little goes a long way. Did I mention that is smells amazing?

My poor hair after coloring, blow drying and curling with a hot iron, is so tired and damaged. This made my hair feel like I had just gotten a new haircut and like my hair was instantly healthy again. I plan on sticking with this as my new hair care regime for a long time to come!

I feel like it really helped mend and smooth the ends of my hair. I did not condition my roots since I have an oily scalp. I would use this as a hair mask also.
