Mist throughout damp hair, at the roots and lengths. Air-dry or blow dry as desired. For maximum volume results, use following the Pure Volume or Hydrate Sheer haircare systems.

 

PRO TIP: To increase natural texture, mist throughout damp hair. Using a diffuser attachment, dry the hair. For the ultimate volume blow dry, mist throughout damp hair. Follow with an orange-sized amount of Weightless Volume Mousse and blow dry with a ceramic round brush, focusing on the root.

I tried it on air dried fine hair and it dried like liquid hair spray does…. kind of crunchy and weighed it down without giving me anything to work with. On a blowout it acted the same way and dried crispy and had to be reworked. IMO It’s too wet and dries harshly which is a hard medium for me to personally work with. There’s other products I would grab first to achieve volume or use as air dry solution.

I got Pureology Instant Levitation Mist in hopes that it would put some volume to my hair. It helped! It actually helped improve the volume of hair I currently have. It also left my hair manageable not stiff or dry. I would gladly buy this product again because it helped my hair have some extra volume. I love how easy it is to spray into the root of your hair, and how it doesn't leave behind any weird texture on your hair or your scalp. It gives a nice natural lift to my hair, and other products layer well. I will definitely recommend it, the only thing that let me down is the smell because it did not last long right after I applied it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Simply the best Have been using Pureology Hydrate for many years now. Its good for coloured hair as it keeps its soft and hydrated. Still an expensive product and good value when bought on a deal. For best results, I use it with their conditioner. Need very little shampoo and can be diluted with water to help spread it better. Creates enough lather and acts in a couple of minutes. One wash is enough to take away the grease and dirt.
