What It Is

A lightening powder that has a bonder built in, helping you protect bonds to keep fibers strong with none of the extra steps!

What It Does

Flash Lift Bonder Inside lightener provides up to 8 levels of lift, protects bonds, and can be used with Shades EQ Gloss to customize clients' blondes.

What Else You Need to Know

• Flash Lift Bonder Inside lightener will give you the same lifting performance as Flash Lift, with he added benefit of having a bonding additive built in.

• New customized packaging designed with a built in measuring cup.

• Up to 8 levels of lift

• Protects bonds for increased strength

• No need to bump up developer

Flash Lift Bonder Inside mixes in a variable ratio of 1:1 to 1:2 for optimal consistency for a variety of applications.

 

Recommended Mixing Ratio

OFF SCALP APPLICATIONS:

- Using 10-40 volume (maximum)

- Ratio from 1:1 to 1:2 depending on desired consistency.

- 1:1 30g of powder* + 30ml (1oz) developer

- 1:1.5 30g of powder* + 45ml (1.5oz) developer

- 1:2 30g of powder* + 60ml (2oz) developer

- (When using 1:2 for off-scalp application, use only up to 30 volume maximum)

- On Scalp 1:2 30g of powder + 60ml (2oz) developer

- Development Time:

- Up to 50 minutes determined according to the desired results or until the hair reaches pale yellow.

- Do not use heat.


ON-SCALP APPLICATIONS:
- 10-30 Volume (maximum)

- RECOMMENDED MIXING RATIO: 1:2 30 g. of powder* + 60 ml (2 oz.) developer

 

APPLICATION AND RINSING:

• Wear suitable disposable gloves

• Do not use metallic tools (clips, comb, etc.)

• Rinse and shampoo the hair well after development time

• Do not let the product run onto the scalp for off-scalp applications

PRO TIP: For the ultimate creamy consistency and lift, we recommend 1 scoop + 1 ounce of developer. 15g = 1 scoop, 30g = 2 scoops.

I have used other Redken products, but never the one with bonder inside. I have to say I was very impressed with the consistency, levels of lift, and the way my clients hair felt afterwards. The hair was left so healthy, so shiny, and perfectly intact. No breakage whatsoever. This stuff is also perfect to balayage with IMO. great consistency and texture. I can't wait to use this product again, about to order a full tub!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Gentle Lightener I liked using this lightener. The consistency is a little thicker so I added more developer. Absolutely NO heat with this product. I noticed the hair was in great condition after using but processing time was a lot slower so plan for more time on that. You could counter it with saying it has a bonder built in so it could pay for your time. I would use this for my client that need tlc from bleach but definitely not on my middle eastern or Hispanic clients. It didn't want to lift but maybe 4-5 levels

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent lightener! I used Redken Blonde Idol Flash Lift Bonder Inside Lightener for the first time, and I am a big fan! I used it on a client with very fine, dark hair. She desires a subtle lift, and tends to lift almost too fast. I thought she would be the perfect client to try this on, and I was very pleased with her results. I did a mixing ratio of 1:2 with 10 volume, and it was the perfect speed and the perfect lift. I didn't even have to tone her to achieve her desired warm caramel results. Her hair felt and looked amazing. I will be adding this to my supplies. Very pleased!

Achieve more levels of lift than other products that have added bonder. I am very happy with what I can achieve using flashlight. I would totally recommend this product for a multitude of different techniques.

It's a one stop shop. It lifts well, even on some of the hardest colors to lift. Of course you have to make sure you are applying it evenly and your saturation is good for a good even clean lift. All in all if your looking for a good bleach… look no further it's definitely worth the money!!

As a "toning" bleach, I'd have to say no. Even though it is blue, there's still a ton of warmth in the hair, so that is a little misleading.

I do feel like it slowed down the process a little and I didn't notice a huge difference in the integrity of the hair. I would for sure use it for my blondes just with planning a little extra time for processing.
