What It Is

A lightening powder that has a bonder built in, helping you protect bonds to keep fibers strong with none of the extra steps!

What It Does

Flash Lift Bonder Inside lightener provides up to 8 levels of lift, protects bonds, and can be used with Shades EQ Gloss to customize clients' blondes.

What Else You Need to Know

• Flash Lift Bonder Inside lightener will give you the same lifting performance as Flash Lift, with he added benefit of having a bonding additive built in.

• New customized packaging designed with a built in measuring cup.

• Up to 8 levels of lift

• Protects bonds for increased strength

• No need to bump up developer

Flash Lift Bonder Inside mixes in a variable ratio of 1:1 to 1:2 for optimal consistency for a variety of applications.

 

Recommended Mixing Ratio

OFF SCALP APPLICATIONS:

- Using 10-40 volume (maximum)

- Ratio from 1:1 to 1:2 depending on desired consistency.

- 1:1 30g of powder* + 30ml (1oz) developer

- 1:1.5 30g of powder* + 45ml (1.5oz) developer

- 1:2 30g of powder* + 60ml (2oz) developer

- (When using 1:2 for off-scalp application, use only up to 30 volume maximum)

- On Scalp 1:2 30g of powder + 60ml (2oz) developer

- Development Time:

- Up to 50 minutes determined according to the desired results or until the hair reaches pale yellow.

- Do not use heat.


ON-SCALP APPLICATIONS:
- 10-30 Volume (maximum)

- RECOMMENDED MIXING RATIO: 1:2 30 g. of powder* + 60 ml (2 oz.) developer

 

APPLICATION AND RINSING:

• Wear suitable disposable gloves

• Do not use metallic tools (clips, comb, etc.)

• Rinse and shampoo the hair well after development time

• Do not let the product run onto the scalp for off-scalp applications

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Decent lightener! Decent lightener, pretty, even lift. It whisks up liquid-y then thickens so just be mindful of that. No swelling or anything crazy. The bonding portion idk about I didn't notice any spectacular difference but a good lightener overall.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing results!! My customer wanted babylights but had some previous damage from a perm. I explained my concerns but they insisted, so I made them sign a waiver. I used the Redken Blonde Idol Flash Lift Bonder Inside Lightener with 30 volume developer. After 20 minutes I was checking it every 10, up to 50 minutes. We rinsed and shampooed and conditioned, then we blow dried and set. Let me tell you, it kept the integrity of the hair! Even on the previous damage-that I was almost certain was going to fry worse or break off! I was so impressed I went out and bought a big supply! This will forever be my lightener! Thank you Redken!!

It is so nice to not have to worry about adding extra products in order to protect the hair integrity; not to mention less products I have to buy. I took a level 7 up to a level 10 and the hair felt wonderful afterwards. Will definitely be adding this to my lightner/color arsenal.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great backup This lightner lifts great and has a blue base which helps with toning. The only thing I didn't like was that it swelled up a little bit in the foil under the heat. If I don't use heat with it then it's fine. This is not my usual go to but it's a great back up.

Other lighteners that I've tried with an added bonder didn't get the lift I needed which resulted in yellow tones even after bumping up the volume. I didn't have to do that though with this! Awesome results- bright and healthy blonde!

I do highly recommend it ! Using it the right way will give you the best results!!

It has a bond building ingredient in the bleach that protects your hair from a lot of damage and it lifts and spreads really nice. I will be buying this bleach again & I would 100% recommended this bleach to other stylists.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not my favorite lightener, but not terrible This lifts fine. I used it on myself, a level 7, for my double process touch up. It usually takes 20 minutes after application for my hair to lift to a level 10 on an open air application with 30 volume. This took about 35 minutes to get me to the level I needed. I didn't notice a big difference in how my hair felt as compared to my normal lightener, so I don't know if the extra money is worth the "bonder" aspect. I'll probably stick with my usual lightener.

By far my favorite thing about this lightener is the bond builder inside, it really helps to cut down cost in the salon and increase profits but also really helps to keep the hair feeling healthy and less damaged after bleaching. Definitely recommend!

It has a built in bonder which is one of the most important if not most important quality. Highlights look clean and bright when used and it leaves the hair in phenomenal shape. Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love this lightener I've been a platinum blonde for years and have used flash lift for years. I had received another lightener to try out and it did not get me nearly as light and bright as this one. I hear and see people complain on this one that it doesn't get passed a level 9... The trick to blonde idol flash lift is low and slow. Now that it has the bonder inside I feel much more comfortable leaving it on for the extra 10 mins or so to break through the yellow, to get to the inside of a banana peel phase. Leaves my hair super soft and manageable, no harsh odors, and doesn't burn my scalp like other lighteners either. I have extremely hard water with a ton of minerals in it as well and other lighteners haven't been able to break through them. This one does. Definitely recommend. And for highlights, use super thin sections and heavily saturate for best results. Picture is with no toner. Purple shampoo, only.

It works fine and does a good job protecting the hair during lightening, but it doesn't lift very dark hair light enough for what I need. I do alot of vivids and it won't lift past a level 7. If you're only lifting a few levels or going for a more natural look, I would highly recommend this lightener.
