What It Is

A lightening powder that has a bonder built in, helping you protect bonds to keep fibers strong with none of the extra steps!

What It Does

Flash Lift Bonder Inside lightener provides up to 8 levels of lift, protects bonds, and can be used with Shades EQ Gloss to customize clients' blondes.

What Else You Need to Know

• Flash Lift Bonder Inside lightener will give you the same lifting performance as Flash Lift, with he added benefit of having a bonding additive built in.

• New customized packaging designed with a built in measuring cup.

• Up to 8 levels of lift

• Protects bonds for increased strength

• No need to bump up developer

Flash Lift Bonder Inside mixes in a variable ratio of 1:1 to 1:2 for optimal consistency for a variety of applications.

 

Recommended Mixing Ratio

OFF SCALP APPLICATIONS:

- Using 10-40 volume (maximum)

- Ratio from 1:1 to 1:2 depending on desired consistency.

- 1:1 30g of powder* + 30ml (1oz) developer

- 1:1.5 30g of powder* + 45ml (1.5oz) developer

- 1:2 30g of powder* + 60ml (2oz) developer

- (When using 1:2 for off-scalp application, use only up to 30 volume maximum)

- On Scalp 1:2 30g of powder + 60ml (2oz) developer

- Development Time:

- Up to 50 minutes determined according to the desired results or until the hair reaches pale yellow.

- Do not use heat.


ON-SCALP APPLICATIONS:
- 10-30 Volume (maximum)

- RECOMMENDED MIXING RATIO: 1:2 30 g. of powder* + 60 ml (2 oz.) developer

 

APPLICATION AND RINSING:

• Wear suitable disposable gloves

• Do not use metallic tools (clips, comb, etc.)

• Rinse and shampoo the hair well after development time

• Do not let the product run onto the scalp for off-scalp applications

PRO TIP: For the ultimate creamy consistency and lift, we recommend 1 scoop + 1 ounce of developer. 15g = 1 scoop, 30g = 2 scoops.

I find it doesn't change the texture hardly or if at all. It doesn't take long to work either which is another big plus. I love it!

I do feel it's more gentle and when on sale the price point is great but still more expensive then matrix. I also noticed it swells when they have mineral build up which where I live everyone has hard water so keep this in mind before you go to close to the scalp

I have only been using Redken lightener for 15 years but this flash lift bonder inside leaves black dots inside my foils and I don't know why. I thought it was my application but apparently other people are having the same issue. I'll go back to the original and see if that helps because I love Redken but I won't be using this one again.

There has always been small hard chunks in this bleach that end up in the drain. For at least a year, the hard chunks in the powder that won’t mix are leaving dark spots on every single clients highlights, I use it on. I’m having to go back and re-saturate foils to blend those dark polka dots out. Sometimes I’m not fully successful and it’s time to rinse. I’m using the redken developer. I’ve been coloring hair for 23 years full time. Is anyone else having this awful experience?

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Bonder blocks the lightener? My co worker used this on my hair during a global blonding service. We noticed some dark spots about the size of a sharpie pen dot. It seemed like the bonder was concentrated there and blocked the lightener. We went over the spots again with another product and the result was just fine. She said she mixed well but maybe the powder needs to be sifted before adding developer.
