Followed all directions, was not a close match to swatch and it was very patchy looking. Had a horrible time trying to remove it. I have been doing my hair fashion colors for a while now and figured I would give this line a try because I like their other products but I was very disappointed.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from You Never Know What Color It Will Turn Out These colors are long lasting and vibrant, but very very hard to work with. They have a long way to go still. We’ve used purplish greys and had then turn out a nasty green. The purple turns green no matter what method is used to remove it. When you mix the colors, how it looks in the color bowl is not how it looks on the head. We added a mixtured that was 1.5 oz yellow, .5 retro blue, and .1 admiral navy. Turned out the most beautiful green on a mannequin test strand. My hair was a VERY faded and light light pastel greenish blue (could see almost whitish peaking through) when we applied the same batch to my hair. Turned out DARK BLUE. Literally not a hint of green. This color line makes me angry and is unpredictable for my guests. If I were not under corporates thumb I would NOT use it except for the straight blues and maybe the green for long lasting purposes. Pulp Riot is 100x better.

I normally use Joico semi but they wash out really quick and require a lot more product since it’s thicker. The consistency of the so cult it much better to spread and faded after 5 shampoos which is reasonable to me.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great pigment, but requires level 10 even base This color has great pigment has yet to start fading (about 4-6 shampoo’s so far)! However if you want a fully saturated and even color make sure that your base is at very minimum a level 9 and even otherwise it will require an extra “coat”.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Marble Grey is more like an Aqua Blue I have tested out Marble grey on naturally blonde hair, toned blonde, and prelightened hair at a level 10 and Marble Grey came out aqua blue each time. I have yet to try out any of the other colors but so far I am unimpressed with the one color. However they all came out very vibrant.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Nope. I have platinum blonde hair and I decided to use luscious macaroon. Which is suppose to be a light lavender. First of all the color is straight up purple nothing light about it but I figured that it would fade into the color I wanted. It faded into a denim blue. Time to get my roots retouched and just a touch of bleach got on my previously colored hair and it turned neon blue. I now have blue ends and a band of a pinkish tone. I am so happy I tired this out on myself first before a client. Would not trust any other of their semi permant colors.
