The formula acts as a buffer for the alkaline agents in the lightening process that preserves the bond while allowing the lightening to continue to happen.
BOND Ultim8 is recommended for use during any hair color and/or lightening service where hair strength and breakage are of concern.
Routine: (Lightener) Bleach + developer + Step 1 Amplifier (on scalp; off scalp) 1:1 or 1:2 mix ratio, up to 50 min, room temperature ¼ oz (8g) Step 1 Amplifier 2 oz (30g) bleach Matrix lightener 2-4 oz (30g – 60g) developer (10, 20, 30, 40 volume) Rinse well. Apply Step 2 Sealer (1/2oz-1oz or 8-16g) from root to tip. Process 10 minutes, room temperature. Rinse well. Follow with Bond Ultim8 Weekly Sealing Treatment
Routine: (Hair Color) Mix equal parts ratio of any shade (2oz or 60g) with the chosen dedicated developer (10, 20, 30, 40 volume) (2oz or 60g), process as directed, room temperature Add Step 1 Amplifier (1/8oz or 4g) (fla 37462 rdk) Rinse well Apply Step 2 Sealer (1/2oz-1oz or 8-16g) from root to tip. Process 10 minutes, room temperature. Rinse well. Follow with Bond Ultim8 Weekly Sealing Treatment
