I have color treated hair and sometimes it feels very dry and brittle but even after the first use I could tell a difference. It has also helped dramatically with cutting down frizz. I can't stop touching my hair now because it feels so nice! The only complaint I have it that the fragrance is very subtle To almost nonexistent, I like when my hair smells good for the whole day.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A good recommendation for all hair types I recently got to test out Redkens All Soft shampoo for dry and brittle hair in exchange for my honest review, and I was not left disappointed! I am very thankful I got to give this product a try, as I have not used it in many, many years. Their new packaging is a a sleeker more modern upgrade to one of their best selling staple products. The shampoo itself does a great job of lathering. It smells awesome, and after it left my hair feeling very clean. I tested this product on my own EXTREMELY dry brittle chemical and heat damaged hair, and also my thick curly virgin haired daughters. This product seemed to be beneficial to us both, but seemed to be more favorable towards my daughters curly less damaged hair. For my overly damaged dry hair, it almost felt a little too stripping and well cleansing. For my daughter though it seemed to be beneficial to her curls to get a little more of a deeper cleanse to remove build up she must of had and help "reset" her curls, all while adding enough moisture to tame any frizz she normally has. Personally for clients with the level of dryness i unfortunately have, I would assume they would need to opt for Redkens All Soft Mega shampoo as opposed to just the All Soft. However, with that being said, I could still understand why this is one of Redkens most popular products as it seems well formulated enough to give some sort of benefit to an array of hair types.

I love that the shampoo doesn't get your hair to the point it feels like it's being stripped, it keeps it hydrated and soft while cleansing the scalp and strands of hair

Redken has now added the RCT Protein Complex to help treat hair from the root to the core to the tip. Claiming to give all 3 levels the custom nourishment they need. I love that All Soft is a gentle enough cleanser to use daily and leaves the hair so manageable. It smells great and lathers beautifully. Easily this is a staple for anyone with course, dry, brittle or overly thick hair.

Redken All Soft is perfect for dry winter hair. I have gas heat and my hair needs the extra moisture this time of year. I told my mother she needs to add All Soft to he winter hair routine as well. I love the moisture complex in this shampoo because it isn't heavy. I think it will work great in the summer months after long days at the beach. Im going to add Redken All Soft to my backbar!

It does everything it says it will do, and you can tell there's oils in there that are beneficial to dry brittle hair. However - I felt like it left a residue because of the oil, and I do NOT love that. I think this product will work for some, just not for me.

Doesn't weigh the hair down. It makes the hair feel soft and manageable and helps manage frizz and flyaways! I would buy this shampoo and conditioner And would highly recommend it to my friends and family!

I noticed a huge difference using this vs the other brand I have been using. My hair feels super soft and clean yet not stripped of too much!

My hair has been lightened a few times and does tend to be dry unless I add products to it daily. I used this product and honesty I don't feel I need to add more products after I wash my hair for my hair to be soft and healthy feeling.

A small amount makes a good lather. The one thing I didn't like - if not used with conditioner - my hair felt dry after the shampoo. But it felt clean at least and I didn't feel like I needed to shampoo twice

It might be a new formula and or packing but it is still a great product. I wolill continue to use this product on my clients. It's a little heavy for thin hair but I would recommend for medium to thick hair.
