What It Does

Shades EQ Cream:

How To

• Mix in a 1:1 ratio with 10 vol. Pro-oxide Cream Developer

• May be applied with a bowl and brush or bottle

• Shades EQ may be diluted with Shades EQ Cream Clear to lessen intensity or customize any shade

• Process at room temperature for 20 minutes or up to 30 minutes for optimal gray blending

• Follow with Color Extend Shampoo and Conditioner

• Use Shades EQ Cream Clear alone for added shine or to lock previous color. Mix with other shades for less color deposit

• Shades EQ Cover Plus Clear can be used alone for added shine with a subtle brightening effect. Mix with other shades for less color deposit

PRO TIP: Rich cream consistency and 100% oxidative dyes subtly brighten for up to 1 – 1 ½ levels of lift and up to 75% gray blending with demi-permanent results. Shades EQ Cover Plus should always be mixed with 10 Volume Pro-oxide Cream Developer.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Megan from Great for Grey Blending Love this for soft coverage or clients that are sensitive to traditional base colors. Works best for full coverage level 4 and lower. Unfortunately options for coverage level 5 and up can pull overly warm if you’re not careful.

Was browsing thru my local Salon Centric and saw the Cover Plus Cream version of S.EQ and their mochas are a cooler tone vs other lines (SoColor) where they are more strictly an R-V kinda base. Absolutely LOVEEEE the shade and the coverage I got with this product!! Sad they won't be carrying it in stores more, but glad that they will have it online for us still (per my local S.C. manager)!! I'm hooked!

Redken doesnt even have anything else to replace this product, and I have been doing hair for 20years and have scalp allergies to all of redkens color lines, except the Shades EQ cream. The versatility of this product is simply awesome.. Covers grey better than the new oils and is gentler>And rootmelts are way better than using the gels. I think Redken is making a big mistake.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Char from love this line I started using shades eq cream in my salon a few months ago and I LOVE it. it covers gray beautifully, and in only 25 mins. The quicker processing time is wonderful. the fact that it's not permanent therefore not as hard to lighten through in the future it awesome as well. I really hope it's not discontinued. if anything I think it needs to get more advertisement brought to it because not many stylists know about it and how awesome it is!
