• In a non-metallic bowl, mix 1 part Faction8 color to 1 part Pulp Riot developer. Apply to dry, unwashed hair. Process 35 minutes. Up to 45 minutes for resistant gray. Rinse and shampoo well with Bangkok Shampoo.

 

• For optimal grey coverage on 100% white hair, we recommend mixing 1/4 to 1/2 of the Natural series to your formulation. Use shades from the Double Natural (-00) series for intense grey coverage. 10-Volume and 15-Volume are perfect for the client who has less than 25% grey and fine textured here. • For High Lift Colors, in a non-metallic bowl, mix 1 part High Lift color to 2 parts Pulp Riot developer. Process for 45-55 minutes. High Lift colors are best on levels 5 and higher. We don't recommend mixing High Lift colors with other target shades.

I used 6-22 on my client, and it had very red undertones. I was definitely surprised. I don't think it was the client's hair, as the color actually oxidized somewhat pink in the bowl.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from lackluster reds I am finding that this color line seem to run about a shade lighter then other popular brands that alone was a little frustrating but I am extremely disappointed with the reds the 6RR comes out more like a 7 copper (very orange) and with little to no saturation, since you need to drop a level they need to have a few more choices in the 4 and darker levels. But i must give a big thumbs up to their lightener better then Blondor

I’ve tried a few different tricks with the same results. I’ve done hair for about 16 years now so I’m not new to this. Not sure what’s happening.

The fact that I can stock my cabinet with this line and handle all over colors, grey coverage, plus tone/melt my blondes with the same tubes is spectactular. The richness and depth is so true to tone, not too inky. My guests love it. A few things to be aware of: - The actual colors are a shade lighter than what the swatch book would lead you to believe. - For super resistant grey coverage, I always reach for a 00, go a shade darker, and up my developer to 25 vol. Then leave it on for 45-55 minutes. I don't need to do this for ALL my greys, but if you have trouble try that. I have a native american client with CRAZY resistant greys and with those techniques I can use this color on her, take a haircut during her processing time, and her color turns out beautiful and fully covered every time!

I recommend that anyone who has guest who wants vibrant red hair or even rich to us this line.
