What It Is

Pro-oxide Cream Developer is the dedicated developer for Redken's haircolor lines: Blonde IQ 7, Color Fusion, Color Gels Lacquers, Color Gels Oils, Shades ALK, Flash Lift Lighteners.

It mixes haircolor to an ideal consistency for controlled and precise applications. It is available in 10(3%), 20(6%), 30(9%) and 40(12%) volume.

What It Does

• Blonde IQ 7 mixes with Pro-Oxide Cream Developer 10, 20, 30 or 40 volume based on the desired result

• Color Fusion mixes in a 1:1 ratio with Pro-Oxide Cream Developer 10, 20, 30 or 40 vol

• Color Gels Lacquers mixes in a 1:1 ratio with Pro-Oxide Cream Developer 10, 20, 30 or 40 vol

• Color Gels Oils mixes in a 1:1 ratio with Pro-Oxide Cream Developer 10, 20, 30 or 40 vol

• Shades ALK mixes in a 1:1.5 ratio with Pro-Oxide Cream Developer 10 vol exclusively

• Flash Lift Lighteners mix with Pro-Oxide Cream Developer 10, 20, 30 or 40 volume based on the desired result

What Else You Need to Know

No other developer may be substituted for Pro-Oxide Cream Developer. To do so would cause unpredictable results.

Wear suitable disposable gloves. Mix product in a well-ventilated area. Put the recommended amount product 10V (3%), 20V (6%) or 30V (9%) in bowl or bottle. Blend until smooth creamy consistency is achieved. Follow mixture ratios carefully, or damage to hair or scalp including irritation, hair loss or chemical burns could occur. Process at room temperature.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I would highly recommend this product! While I am fortunate to still have a full head of hair at 35, I did start going gray at 20 years old and I've been dying it since then. In the past 15 years, it does feel like I've tried every product available, both at home and at the salon. For reference, I have dark brown hair and I'm about 25% gray. I am definitely satisfied with the results as the coverage is great and it blends well with my natural hair color. It has also held up well over the past several weeks and I look forward to seeing how long it lasts!

I received the bottle of Redken Pro-Oxide without any instructions in regards to how to used it, how many parts of this product and how many parts of the Redken Brews Color to put together and mixed. I try using 2 parts of Redken Pro-Oxide together with 1 part of the Redken Brews Color. After I mixed them together, I applied to my hair; again no instructions in regards to how long I need to wait until I washed my hair. I waited for 40 minutes and after that I washed my hair. The result wasn't what I was expecting. The product didn't cover my grey hair.

Now when my hair starts to show signs of grey I will have this on hand and be able to camoflauge my grey hairs. This brand does work better than some of the cheaper brands I've tried before. I like that it is salon quality.

I like the fact it's so easy to use. I was intimidated to try it but when I read the instructions, I was very happy to learn it's just mixed in equal parts with the color camo. Unlike my wife's color - I like that I don't have to do a whole bunch of mixing and waiting, and it really did the trick on my greys.

After trying the product I have to say that I'm not happy with the results because I dont get the results I want. My hair stills almost the same I only see a few dark gray color on my hair but still look gray.
