Turn on the trimmer and hold it at the angle recommended for the style you want. Move it gently against the direction of hair growth for a closer trim, or with the growth for a softer finish. Use slow, steady strokes and adjust the guard length as needed to control how much hair you remove. Always clean the blades after use to keep the trimmer in good condition.
