"Linange Relaxer with Shea Butter is formulated to permanently straighten hair. Caution: Do not use on permanent colored, treated or lightened hair.
Cautions:
• Keep out of reach of children.
• Keep out of eyes, ears, nose and mouth.
• If relaxer accidentally swallowed, seek medical attention immediately.
• Only apply to hair on the head. This product contains sodium hydroxide.
• Follow directions thoroughly to avoid skin and scalp burns, hair loss and eye injury.
• Do not use if scalp is irritated or injured.
• Do not use on hair previously treated with ammonium thioglycolate.
• If relaxer causes skin irritation, immediately rinse and apply shampoo to that area.
• If relaxer gets into eyes, rinse immediately with cool water and consult a physician.
• Perform a preliminary strand test before relaxer new clients.
• Do not use on permanently color treated or bleached hair."
Read directions thoroughly and use only as directed. Wear protective gloves throughout the treatment. Do not wet or shampoo the hair prior to relaxing. Part the hair into 4 sections. (To prevent damage, apply a protective base to the scalp, and a protective conditioner to the previously relaxed ends of the hair.) Use a timer from the start of application, leaving 8 minutes for relaxer application, and 10 minutes for smoothing. Apply the relaxer using small partings to the new growth only, keeping the relaxer 1/4 inch away from the scalp. Smooth the product in the same pattern as application. When desired relaxation has been achieved, rinse thoroughly with warm water. Continue rinsing until the relaxer is completely removed from the hair and the water runs clear. Saturate the hair with the Linange Neutralizing Conditioner, comb through gently with a wide toothed comb, let sit for 5 minutes without massaging it into the hair. Rinse thoroughly. Re-apply the Neutralizing Conditioner, leaving it on for three minutes. Rinse thoroughly. To remove chemical smells from the hair, achieve one lather with the Repair Shampoo. Rinse thoroughly. Apply Linange Repair Mask. Style as desired.
