How To

Depending on the desired level of lift and consistency, mix the lightening powder with OYA Lotions (3%) 10vol., (6%) 20 vol., (9%) 30 vol., (12%) 40 vol., in a ratio of 1:1.5 up to 1:2 (lightener to developer) in a non-metallic bowl. If applied directly to the scalp, do not exceed (6%) 20 vol. OYA Lotion. Apply to dry, unwashed hair. DO NOT USE HEAT. Applying peroxide developer to hair that is already bleached can cause severe hair damage. Do not use relaxers or perms immediately before or after lightening. After mixing, use immediately and discard any unused mixture. Processing time depends on the condition of the hair and the desired level of lift. Check every 5-10 minutes during processing. Discontinue use in case of irritation (e.g. itching, burning, rash or any unexpected reaction). Stop and immediately rinse with water. If necessary, seek medical treatment. Do not exceed a processing time of 50 minutes. Once the desired results has been achieved, rinse thoroughly and shampoo to completely remove residue of lightening mixture.
