What Else You Need to Know

This gentle formula is infused with a nourishing blend of Ferulic Acid, a powerful antioxidant, and Citric Acid, a molecule that helps to reinforce the hair bond network for shine and optimal color results. The luxurious, creamy texture transforms into an easy-to-apply dense foam. Ideal for all types of color-treated hair, especially vivid colors.

Distribute evenly through wet hair and massage until a lather forms. Rinse thoroughly. Follow with Vitamino Color Spectrum Conditioner or Mask (sold separately). Use with the full Vitamino Color Spectrum system for best results.

Tried it on my fine hair clients and those with thicker coarse hair. And it didn’t weigh them down. Amazing shine and softness and eliminates frizz! Must have!

I have long, thick, color treated hair. I used this shampoo after recently coloring my hair. When using it, I noticed the shampoo has a great lather and a creamy texture to it. The shampoo contains citric and ferulic acids which is said to protect hair and extend the life of the color. My hair felt clean and smooth after the first use. After several uses, my hair color is still shiny and vibrant. The shampoo has a pleasant, light scent. I plan to continue to use it until the bottle is empty and purchase a full size, so safe to say I would recommend Vitamino Color Spectrum Shampoo to anyone with color treated hair.

It smells great and is pretty heavily scented, so definitely something to consider if your clients are sensitive to fragrance. As far as color retention, I didn’t notice any more of a difference than when I use any other salon color safe shampoo.

First off the bat when pumped into my hand, it smelled like perm solution and my hair smelled like that the whole day. The second time using it was better, but still had a weird smell. I did notice more vibrancy with my color and my hair was smoother, but it also felt like it didn’t do the job to actually wash my hair. I probably wouldn’t buy this and don’t really recommend—more so based on smell.

I like the pump bottle for easy use. This shampoo left my hair feeling light and clean, while still soft and moisturized. I have fine hair while still having a lot of hair so I like products that don’t weigh my hair down or feel heavy. Plus my hair is color treated so this shampoo checks all the boxes for me. I received this product in exchange for my honest review and will definitely purchase for myself.
