The Glitterbels Base Coat is the 3rd step in the prepping process for a set of Gel nails. To ensure your Builder Gel, Hema Free Gel Polish or Gel Polish sets last you must first apply the Glitterbels Dehydrator, Acid Free Primer, and Base Coat, in that order. The Glitterbels Base Coat is another covalent bond, this means this product adheres to the nail and the gel polish will adhere to that, however it is very different to the Acid Free Primer as this product contains *photo-initiators and *oligomers, due to these special types of ingredients the base coat will need to be cured in a Lamp for a minimum of 30 seconds, 60 seconds preferably. We have two versions of this one for our basic range and one for our Hema free.
After filing and prepping your nail, apply a thin layer of base coat to the nail. Carefully avoiding the cuticle area and cure for 60 seconds in your Glitterbels lamp before applying your layer of colour. Do not wipe the sticky layer.
