Blooming gel is a fantastic way to get great-looking nail art in an easy and simple way it's a special type of gel that encourages polish colours you paint on top of it to spread creating marble, natural stone, watercolours, floral print, tie-dye and gradients. FAQs How to use blooming gel Blooming gel is a special type of nail product used in manicures. It's designed to create unique, fluid, and blooming patterns on the nails. Here's how it works: Base Application: You start by applying a base coat on your nails, just like with regular nail polish or gel. Blooming Gel Application: After the base, you apply the blooming gel. This gel has a unique, thinner consistency compared to regular nail gels, which allows it to spread outwards when another colour is applied on top of it. Design Creation: While the blooming gel is still uncured (i.e., not yet set under a UV/LED lamp), you add small drops of colored gel polish onto it. The blooming gel reacts with these drops, causing them to spread out and create various effects, like floral patterns, abstract designs, or watercolour-like spreads. Curing and Finishing: After achieving the desired pattern, the design is cured under a UV or LED lamp to set it in place. A top coat is always applied afterward to seal the design and ensure the gel doesn't remain tacky. What is blooming gel? Blooming gel is a specialised nail product used in creating intricate nail art. It's a unique formula distinct from regular nail polish or gel. When applied as a layer over a base coat, it allows for the creation of spreading, fluid designs when other colours are applied on top of it. What is blooming gel used for? Blooming gel is primarily used for creating artistic and intricate designs in nail art. When a nail artist applies blooming gel polish and then adds drops of different coloured polishes, the blooming effect occurs, allowing the colors to spread and create patterns reminiscent of watercolor art or natural blooming effects. What can you use instead of blooming gel? If you don't have blooming gel, you can mimic its effect with thinner, more fluid nail polishes or inks designed for nail art. These alternatives can be layered over a base coat and manipulated before applying a top coat to create designs similar to those achieved with blooming gel. However, the effect might not be as pronounced or controlled as with actual blooming gel. Does blooming gel polish contain HEMA? The composition of blooming gel polish varies by brand. HEMA (Hydroxyethyl Methacrylate) is a common ingredient in many nail products due to its adhesive qualities. Our blooming gel contains HEMA.

Once you have applied your chosen gel polish or acrylic enhancement, apply a thin layer of blooming gel. DO NOT CURE. Start to apply your chosen design on your uncured blooming gel, after a few seconds your design will start to spread. Cure for 60 seconds and follow with Glitterbels rubber topcoat for another 60 seconds. Finally, remove the tacky layer with cleanser.
