Rated 5 out of 5 by Boomer from Nothing Else Quite Like Em... I use a short blade (4.5 & 5.0) and I am left handed. I started my artful career back in a day when left handed tools were far and few between. I was introduced to feather switchblade shears way back in the early 90's. These shears upped my game since they had no tang and I could flip them upside down to gain the correct tension for haircuts. The blades are equally sharp on both sides so it's like having a double inverted razor to get a consistent result regardless. I also like that I do not need to sharpen shears. I just replace the blades and discard the old ones. Since our trade has progressed, there are many more options for left handed tools. I have tried many and still prefer my trusty feather switchblade shears. So after all these years I have decided if it's not broke, don't fix it.
