Terrible dryer and customer service
This dryer is dangerously defective - when I switch the dryer off, it doesn’t turn off. It often takes upward of 6 attempts at switching it on and off for it to finally turn off, and now has started to short my breaker. To make matters worse, FHI warranty policy is the worst I’ve seen. If your product is defective and under warranty, you the customer have to pay a $35 processing fee. Make a defective product then make the customer pay for remedying the defect? I will never buy or recommend a FHI product. Back to GHD for me.

I started using the dryer Jan of 2023 then it died May 2024. I loved it when it was working but for the price I will look for another brand to replace it.

This dryer lacked the power that I expected and have come to love from FHI dryers…..I had to return it b/c it wasn’t giving the shine and power that’s necessary to smooth textured hair

Short Life
Purchased and loved the light feel and quietness. First use out of the box and no hot air on any speed. Exchanged for another. Next one was great, until about 8 month later, no hot air at any speed. Unfortunately, the cost is not worth the short life of this dryer.

Not at all happy
Disappointed that after properly keeping the filter clean and changed I am already experiencing the heating element issues.I am going to have to send back and will be without til repairs.

It worked great for almost a year. If you cut off during a blow dry when you cut it back on it will no get hot. Just blows cold air!

A great investment!
The Innovator Pro Speed Dryer is like no other dryer I've used before! It's lightweight, quiet, and powerful!! It's easy to use. I've tried it with and without the concentrator, and with the diffuser, too. My clients comment about how powerful it is for its size. The temperature of the air flow is really nice with 3 settings plus a cold shot. I highly recommend this product. A great investment!!

Dont waste your money!!
I purchased this in December 2022 because I had a coupon to use on one item. It lasted until November 2023. All of a sudden it stopped blowing hot air. It was a pain in the butt but I finally got a hold of somebody to send the one that wasn't working back, they shipped me a new one November 21st 2023 and it stopped blowing hot air again December 19th 2023. I was fully booked at the salon. thankfully I had a backup blow dryer but it doesn't dry nearly as fast as this one did! As I'm reading reviews, I'm finding out that it's going to be a pain in the butt to get a refund 😡

Ok for personal use, not on clientele
I purchased this on a whim because it was on sale. When it arrived I thought I had purchased a travel size blower, it’s so small! For its size though it has good heat and power, but not for professional use. This is not as powerful as I was hoping and for that it only gets 3 stars.

Terrible customer service
I was so excited to finally have a really nice lightweight and quiet dryer, but within a week the heat setting button would not let me change the settings. First I tried calling the company and the answering machine each time said not Available. Left a message (no return call) then contacted salon centric for help and they directed me with a return form. That was over two weeks ago I sent my complaint and want my money back and still no response. Do not buy this dryer or buy this brand of products!!

Quit working before a year
Have been somewhat happy so far. But now it does not heat up. I have had it for less than a year. So I am not happy with the quality of this dryer so far. And customer service has been a nightmare to deal with or even answer phone.

Hoping FHI works out some issues with this dryer.
This is by far the best dryer I have ever owned. It’s small but mighty. My 3 major requirements are quiet, light, and powerful, and it wins big for me in all 3 categories. HOWEVER, after 7 months it needs to be replaced. In the 7 months I owned it, there were a couple times I couldn’t get it to turn on. Seemed to be in the middle of the day after being used for a couple hours. Not sure if it gets stuck in between a setting, or if the filter needed cleaned, or if it was overheating??? It would eventually turn back on and worked fine for weeks before I had to trouble shoot again. Then, I noticed sparks coming out of the nozzle during drying!! I contacted the company, got a quick response, and was told to send the dryer back (with a copy of the receipt) for a replacement. I like this dryer enough to give it another try, and am crossing my fingers they’ve worked out some issues with this product. They offer a year warranty, so if you purchase this be sure to Register your product , keep your box AND receipt in the event you run into a similar situation.

Small and Mighty
After my dyson went out on my for the fourth time, I decided to try something new and got this dryer since I wanted something small and light like my previous one. I’m thoroughly impressed with the power of the innovator! It’s really powerful for how lightweight it is! I definitely recommend.

I love this dryer a year in works great but the silver cap that holds the filter in place blew off and I need a new one. I'm out of gas the FHI customer service has been giving me the run around for day I just need a replacement I will pay if I have too even thought it has a two year warranty. I cannot use scare to get a clients hair stuck no bueno.

Best Blow dry
I was afraid to buy this blow dryer and when I got it and I started blow dry my clients each one I couldn’t believe the power just a little blow dryer has and I have dropped it many times it’s made out of metal never had a crack toe dryer still in great condition.

Very light weight dryer. The cord feels heavier than the dryer. Love the quietness also. Downfalls: stiff heavy cord and power switch is too flush with the dryer. It makes it take longer to switch it on/off.

Disappointed
Well to say I'm disappointed is the least I could say. This is not a cheap blow dryer. The heat goes off by itself mid blowout... so I'm trying to dry hair with cool heat which isn't giving any form of bouncy blowout. It's light which is the positive, but I'd rather a fully functional blow dryer. The heat started acting up within 2 months of buying this dryer.

Small mighty but flawed
pro: This dryer is light weight, high powered and sleek. It drys hair much faster. Con: The cord sucks and gets tangled all the time, It can get hot on handle, it’s finish is starting to peel off even though a new dryer, and controls aren’t easy to use as well as the attachment falls off while I’m drying. Overall this dryer needs some fine tuning.
