Left-handed version of the ORIGINAL Fishbone Shear for razoring, slide cutting, and point cutting. There is no other shear like this. The back of the blade acts as a guard allowing the stylist to razor the hair with the shears closed. The shears are specially designed to hold the blades closer together. The Japanese ATS314 Cobalt steel blades are 33% sharper, smoother edges than conventional high-quality beauty shears. 6 inch. Use it in both wet and dry cutting. The handle is ergonomic and comfortable in the hand with a gentle thumb twist. 2.3 oz weight with a 60-degree precise sword edge point. Features: • Sword edge • Screw-in Bumper • UFO style smooth action screw system • Japanese cobalt ATS14 steel. R.O.C. finish (not Chinese) • Be sure your sharpener knows how to correctly sharpen these shears. NOTE: Razor with the shears completely closed. One side removes more hair than the other. These will not cut as fast nor as deep as a razor blade. They create texture and subtle razor effects and slide-cutting effects. They are not for straight cutting and are designed to "push" hair which is not a defect in the design, but an asset when slithering techniques are used. Be careful, the edges are 30% sharper than regular shears.
