Kenra Color Permanent mixing ratio: one part permanent coloring crème plus one part developer (1:1). Process Time: 30 minutes. Process Time for gray coverage: up to 40 minutes

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Loving it! I just switched to Kenra and so far it has been FANTASTIC. Hair feels healthier than it did prior to the service and the shine is no joke!!! Still figuring out grey coverage, as I have been getting slightly translucent results in levels 8+, but I think that's a more becoming look anyway so I'm not particularly bothered by it. Also color is very thick but that hasn't been an issue either as it spreads easily. Literally my only qualm is I feel like to tubes themselves are crazy hard to squeeze.

It did take me a while to grasp the do's and don'ts of the brand, but now I'm confidently able achieve from subtle to extreme looks with my clients without stepping outside of the line and having to use other brands of color--Kenra's got it all for it all! From their yummy, rich browns to their shimmery golds--the possibilities are endless. Coverage is amazing. I have a client who I have been trying to take silver for months, using the brands I was before Kenra: no great results. Finally, I tried out the SM line and we nailed it! I do have some difficulty squeezing the tubes, they are very stiff. It would be awesome if the tunes of the permanent could be like the demi. I love the fact that Kenra does not animal test. Thanks Kenra for making me feel like I'm a true artist!

A friend recommended that I use Kenra color for my red. Not only is it vibrant, but it doesn't really fade that much like most red colors. I recommend Kenra for all my red clients.
