Frizz Dismiss is a collection of haircare products and treatments providing humidity protection and smoothing benefits for all hair types. The collection features Redken's Smoothing Complex infused with Babassu Oil to tame flyaways and decrease puffiness while increasing manageability and shine. The formulas feature a warm, beachy fragrance with notes of vanilla, jasmine, pear and citrus for an invigorating experience with every use.

How To

Damp Hair: Apply on clean damp hair prior to air drying or heat styling to smooth hair and prevent frizz.

Dry Hair: Apply on dry hair prior to heat styling (flat iron/curling iron) for an extra smooth style or apply on dry hair as needed to instantly smooth hair and decrease puffiness.

PRO TIP: Use Instant Deflate on clients with puffy, frizzy hair.

HOW TO RECOMMEND: Recommend Frizz Dismiss Instant Deflate oil-in-serum to clients with medium to coarse hair that experience puffiness, excess volume and frizz.

I have super thick hair that gets frizzy so easily especially in humid weather. I applied it mostly on my ends and then worked it up towards the roots. At little will go along way! This product worked extremely well for me the smoothness lasted until I washed my hair again. I would have given it 5 stars if it wasn't for the ingredients. I'm big on clean beauty and understanding what exactly you are putting on your body. I would've loved it even more if it was made with castor oil instead of soybean and if the fragrance wasn't as high up on the ingredients list.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Kelsey from Moderately good product I used this product on 3 different clients. 1 with very coarse, frizzy gray hair, 1 with thick medium frizzy hair, and 1 with fine frizzy hair. I used this on its own and with the full line of frizz dismiss. Using just this product on the thick frizzy hair did seem to tame it slightly. On the thin and coarse gray hair I did not see any difference. When I used the full line including this product I did notice that on the fine and thick medium frizzy hair it did seem like a totally different head of hair. Look silky smooth, and no fly aways. When using the full line on coarse gray hair I did not see anything difference, it did not tame anything. Overall this product is okay, if you're using the full line I recommend it. If you're looking for a standalone product I don't

I applied 2 pumps of the Redken Frizz Dismiss oil to the palm of my hands rubbed them together to help evenly distribute before applying to dry hair. The product smells great and doesn't weigh the hair down or leave it feeling oily. Makes the hair look frizz free, healthier and shinier. Very moisturizing. Not only does it smell amazing but it also controls actually controls the frizz. Leaves your hair feeling soft and silky. Found that applying while the hair is slightly damp and then again (only on the ends) once dry makes huge difference. Does not leave the hair looking greasy. Add shine.

I would say it works better being brow dried in rather than air dried which is why I only gave 4 stars. My hair was silky and soft and shiny- but when I air dried it, it kinda looked greasy and clumpy for lack of better words. Definitely recommend for blow dry use though !
