How To

• Use with PRO-OXIDE Developers (10-, 20-, 30- Volume)

• Mixing Ratio 1:2 - 1 Flash Lift Pod (15 g) + 1 oz. (30 ml) Developer

• Add 1 Flash Lift Pod into color bowl and pour 1 oz. of developer over pod. Mix well. Process for up to 50 minutes.

• 2 pods = 1 scoop

Pro Tip: Place the Pod into the bowl and then pour the developer over, making sure it’s 1 Pod : 1 oz. Developer! Use a plastic whisk to break down Pod and mix until smooth!

Rated 1 out of 5 by Cici from Power is in the powder, but not this one I was excited to try these after I watched a video on it, but this lightener is not what I expected. I used 20 vol with it and it took forever to lift 7 to 9, on top of that the plastic didn’t disintegrate like they say. I will say the hair felt fine after sitting for an hr.

Very very little to no dust when you’re mixing. Seeing as we have soooo many respiratory hazards in this field with all the chemicals we breathe in, I think the pods are a brilliant idea. I’ll be buying this until you stop making it!

I used the 1:2 ratio as I was only bleaching my mannequin head, but when the pod dissolves, it can sometimes be very difficult dissolving the entire microencapsulation film. A large portion of the film, after all of the powder came out, just stayed solid and became a goopy-gobbly gunk sitting in the solution. I was able to use 1 pod mixed with 2oz of developer for 1.5 quadrant of hair, from root to end.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Never again from Stressed I changed from V lights to Redken pods. BIG MISTAKE!!!! I have never been so stressed out about getting the desired lift that I needed. As much as its stated … No Heat…. I put my client under the dryer because I couldn’t get a good lift. Bringing the stress home with me is not good!! I’m going back to V Lights! Terrible!!

Rated 3 out of 5 by Erin from It’s ok. I love Redken Flash Lift, but I’m not too impressed with the pods. The actual pod doesn’t dissolve well. Also, if I just need a small amount of extra lightener, the pod creates too much. I still need a normal tub of lightener to mix up a very small batch.

To be fair I used Matrix developer so maybe it works like a charm with Redkin developer but I only have so much space.

But the weird film never dissolves completely leaving a weird clump of product in the bowl. And it sort of makes it hard to apply especially when using to balayage.

I was either picking out the mushyness or constantly re-stirring.
