Rated 5 out of 5 by from Absolutely love this hairspray The Redken Control Hairspray 28 is a great spray to work with. It provides excellent hold without the stiffness or stickiness of some sprays. It's easy to brush through and doesn't leave any residue or flaking. It's also an anti humidity spray so I can't wait to try this in the summer months when we have humidity due to the monsoons.

While most of their products are my favorite smells in hair products, this one didn't stink but not a huge fan of the smell. However, when spraying on my hair while up in a pony tail, it stayed put!! I didn't prefer to use it while it was down bc I have curly hair and like to scrunch more after applying hairspray. But for styles where you don't want your hair to move, it works!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Firm holding hairspray I really liked the firm hold of this spray. Spray was a light, fine mist with even control. It held up good in wind and humidity. The only downside was a slight residue feeling after brushing it out. It wasn't flaky or noticeable enough for me to discourage use, but I usually can skip a day or two without washing but felt I wanted to wash it sooner.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Staying power I was using a different brand of hairspray and it has been discontinued. Have tried several but none compared with the one I was using UNTIL this one. I know it sounds cliche but true. Thins I like that it's a dry spray, meaning when sprayed on hair it doesn't feel heavy and wet. I don't shampoo my hair every day and found that this was brushable the next day and was able to use the curling iron without damage. I cannot attest to holding up in humidity as it's now winter but I do have 'personal' summers and my hair still held the curls during the flashes. It definitely is strong hold. Doesn't need to be over sprayed for holding power. Found the long can is great for holding to spray, especially since I have small hands.

Unfortunately the smell is a bit off putting. I love the humidity resistance and the vitamins B5 addition to this old standard hairspray.

I even use it with my weekly ladies…and you know that means it has to stay. Still easy to move around and get out when it's time! The smell is not overwhelming but has that classy smell you expect from Redken. I will totally keep this in my daily use tool box!

It is so hard to style my hair since my hair is over processed and damaged hair and have tried so many styling products and they were either way too sticky, too heavy or both. With this hairspray however, it's great for my fine hair because it adds great body to it without weighing down my hair and you can actually brush it and it still maintains the style without becoming crunchy or hard. I would highly recommend this product because it holds my hair perfectly throughout the day with minimal touch ups needed. Fabulous product! 10/10.

The anti humidity gives great longetivity and hold to last all day or several days! I love the smell of this and it feels awesome in the hair without weighing down! The hold is awesome!
