The first time I used it I used the Acidic Bonding Mask when I washed my hair, then I towel dried my hair used this stuff and the acidic curl cream, it looked great and felt great at first but it was too heavy with everything else. So next time I used this on towel dried hair, and kenra’s air dry crème it was my perfect combination!! My hair was smooth, didn’t look as frizzy. Then a couple days ago I used it again on towel dried hair, but then blow dried with Kenras heat protectant spray, and again it did amazing. I again didnt have much frizzy, it was misty outside that day as well, and usually my hair frizzes at the first sign of being humid wet like that, and nothing! It smells good and will have a permanent spot on my shelf!

And I was very surprised when I opened it that it was a very different texture than what I expected.I like how creamy or liquidy it was.It made it very easy to put in my curly hair without disrupting the curl pattern. I liked the way it left my hair feeling really soft and I felt like my ends looked healthier.

The ABC Hair Bondage Balm was light weight and didn't weigh fine hair down. The balm provided a fresh clean scent that wasn't over powering and faded once dry. The fly aways and split ends were under control until the next shampoo.

I love that it is nearly invisible,lightweight and has a nice scent. Redken ABC is one of the best product lines on the market. Just keep in mind this product will not "heal" split ends. Only a haircut helps split ends. Think of this balm as more of a Band-Aid.

The scent is really pleasant without being overpowering, and I appreciate how lightweight the formula feels in my hair. It doesn’t leave any heavy or greasy residue, which is a big plus. That said, I didn’t notice any immediate difference in the look or feel of my hair after using it. It may be something that works better over time, but the results weren’t obvious right away. I also wish the packaging was designed differently. It’s easy to dispense more product than needed, and I think many people will end up using too much each time. Overall, it has some nice qualities, but I’m still waiting to see more noticeable results.

The directions indicated to use a pea size amount. It’s more difficult to take a pea size amount out of a jar than it would be from a pump, so I deducted a star for that. I didn’t notice a night and day difference but it’s always nice to use a “heavier” product on fine hair and not have it weighed down.

I didn’t notice anything different with my hair unless I cocktailed it with other products and at that point I might as well not use it at all. It smells good and didn’t weigh down the hair but I didn’t notice a difference at all. My absolute favorite product is the Acidic Bonding 24/7 night and day serum and I was really hopeful this would be just as good but I’ll stick with the serum instead of this balm.
