I like to be an icy platinum, so I definitely push the limits with my lightener sometimes, and this mask has definitely helped my hair grow, while lightening, as I am not experiencing much if any breakage at all. (I say that because I had toned my hair dark for the winter to give it a break, and recently went back to platinum, and didn't even need a trim after). The entire ABC line is great!
