How To

Before a color, balayage or lightening service:

• Spray (Mist) on dry hair, focusing on the lengths. Keep the trigger spray 8 in. away from hair.

• Short hair - 8-10 sprays.

• Long hair - 15-20 sprays.

• Let it air dry, while prepping formulas.

• Do not rinse. No added time needed.

• Follow with color, balayage or lightening service.

Long story short — couldn’t figure out why my hair was suddenly SO snarly and tangled when wet, like nothing I would usually use, not even my fail-proof go-to masks could tackle it. After it was dry, it was fine, felt and looked healthy. I currently and have always lived in a city with some of the naturally cleanest, softest water in the country. I would never have considered trying this product since metal deposits and “hard water” are not something my hair is exposed to frequently, if at all. My stylist recommended this system (she knows I have a license and can get this), and after getting a small sample size of the spray (let it sit/dry for 5 minutes) and shampoo and mask… my hair was back to normal! I now only use this once a month on myself as a pre-treatment, and when I color my hair. I have also used this on my sister-in-law a couple times right before I color her hair, but neither of us really notice any difference in the color results, since like I said we have very soft water; she said her hair felt a little nicer though. Overall, my only complaint is the price for the big bottle (since my SC doesn’t carry to smaller size). I’m sure this is worth the money if you are (a) charging clients for its use during a service, and/or (b) have legitimately hard water where metal deposits are causing your hair issues. I consider it an investment for my hair, and also got it 40% off.

I love that I can use this before a color service and not have a lot of time added into the clients appointment. To be able to combat the hard water in our area during a color service is always a plus!
