So moisturizing!
I absolutely love this product. It’s been a salon staple for decades. It’s the OG original hair mask before hair masks were a thing. Smells wonderful. Leaves the hair so soft and conditioned. Not too heavy so it still can be used on fine hair, yet powerful enough for the thickest hair as well.

Amazing results
I have tried more hydrating conditioners than I could even begin to count, but I was so impressed with the results I saw after using the Biolage Ultra Hydra Source Conditioning Balm.
I have incredibly coarse, thick, curly hair, but then you add in that it is color treated and it is begging for moisture. I was skeptical that this was really going to be any different than any other hydrating conditioner that I have tried, but I was completely wrong. It's sulfate free and is lightweight, but it packs a punch with hydration, rejuvenating shine and moisture, and has an amazing but not overpowering scent. My hair isn't greasy after using the entire system, and will be a go-to from now on.

Good conditioner
I like this conditioner. I didn't feel like it weighed me down or made me greasy and I have fine hair that's bleached. I don't notice that my hair is more smooth or detangled after using it but I'll make that trade for not being greasy.

Great for detangling
This is an excellent softening conditioner for several reasons! 1. It spread like butter and made my clients hair incredibly soft 2. Smells delicious 3. High performing, so a little bit goes a long way. I would recommend this for anyone with dry, brittle hair. I used it on a bleach out client, on 3b curly hair and on a full grey client - all three walked away feeling luscious and soft!

The Best
Biolage has to be the best out there. After using other brands, this one is hands down the best. The fresh, clean, and just out of the salon smell. Not to mention, this conditioning balm leaves damaged hair feeling like silk afterwards. Highly recommended!

Amazing moisture!
Biolage Ultra Hyrdra Sourse Conditioning Balm is a true winner as a solid stand by on my back bar. This creamy conditioner offers extra moisture for anyone that has extremely dry or course hair. A gentle conditioner that has amazing ingredients, such as, aloe and cupuacu butter, while adding gorgeous shine and managbility. I love that the paraben free formula can be used on natural hair and is also safe for color treated hair...a bonus for everyone! The added moisture in the "Ultra" family helps prevent breakage and frizzy flyaways for all of us needing a little extra help with hard to manage hair. The Hydra Source line has always been a favorite of mine, but now I'll add in the Ultra Hydra Sourse family as well!
The entire line smells amazing and is easily worked through the hair for a full spa like experience. All of my clients always comment on the great scent and how good it leaves the hair feeling after any service.

For very dry hair
The Ultra Hydra source is needed for very dry hair. You will notice the hair feeling more smooth and soft. With that makes the hair more manageable.

Not very moisturizing
This conditioning balm is not very moisturizing on very dry colored hair.
Compared to L'Oréal Absolute Repair or Pureology which are much more conditioning. Although more costly than the biolage.
I wouldn't recommend this for very dry hair.
