You can use it multiple times a day and it won’t build up even though you don’t need to because it works so well. I closed it so I’m not sure why it was empty. But I figured I had a defective bottle so I got it again to try it again, and YET AGAIN the same thing happened to me. I LOVE amika and basically only use amika products so I was very excited when this came out, but VERY disappointed with this product.
