PRAVANA's award-winning VIVIDS impart long-lasting, rich color and brilliant shine.

What It Does

This direct-dye features Keratin Amino Acids and pure Silk Amino Acids provide strength and durable shine when applied. Use VIVIDS Clear to lighten or pastel and VIVIDS Black to darken any VIVIDS shade.

What Else You Need to Know

• No ammonia: extremely gentle
• Silk Amino Acids: act as a color carrier to help drive color deep into hair’s cortex
• Keratin Amino Acids: strengthen hair’s fiber and help color adhere to the hair shaft

Pre-lighten hair to recommended level prior to coloring. Apply VIVIDS directly to clean, dry hair. Process for 20-30 minutes at room temperature. Shampoo lightly with VIVIDS Color Protect Shampoo. Rinse thoroughly with cool water and style as desired.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Pravana is so inconsistent! I used Chromasilk Vivid Blue and Chromasilk Vivid Emerald. the blue turned out flawlessly, color matched the swatch to a T. The emerald on the other hand looked NOTHING like the swatch. The results turned out patchy, inconsistent, and about 4 levels lighter than it should have. The deep emerald green that my client was expecting ended up looking like a splotchy, faded, pastel green. This is the third time I have had patchy results with Chromasilk vivids. Sometimes they turn out perfectly, and other times the results look downright horrible. I really love this color line but I unfortunately will be switching to something else, because I can not keep wasting my time and money offering free color corrections due to problems behind my control. I am SO disappointed in the recent quality issues with Pravana's vivid color line.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Toxic Smell As soon as I squeezed this color out of the tube, I knew it wasn’t going to be good. The smell of this is heavily scented with fragrance and it is not pleasant. It was so toxic that I literally started getting dizzy while applying it and I had to finish the color application outdoors. (I have a very well ventilated salon with many air purifiers and it was still an issue). If you are even remotely sensitive to smells do not buy this product. Use Pulp Riot.

Violet was my go to for any client wanting to try a color but didn't want to commit long term because how beautifully it fades or lightens out easily. Recently, it fades muddy green and is teal and other crazy greens when lightened. I'm hugely disappointed.
