What It Does

Wheat Protein and pliable styling polymers form a weightless flexible lattice that expands as heat or humidity rises to hold curl definition without frizz. This high-performance Anti-Frizz Nano Technology with a protein derived from silk seals the cuticle to keep essential moisture in and humidity out. A dedicated UV filter helps protect against damage from environmental aggressors. The result: Flexible hold that won't leave hair crunchy, sticky, or weighed down. How To

Apply using Ouidad's Rake & Shake technique. Divide damp hair into sections. Rake a nickel-size amount of gel through each section, using fingertips to seal and smooth the cuticle from roots to ends. When finished, hold the ends of hair in each section and shake to create curls. Let hair air-dry or blow-dry with a diffuser.

Rated 3 out of 5 by beautydemonlo from Kinda Sorta I'm not a big fan of gels. I'm used to crunchy hair and if you use to much, flaking. I didn't use to much of this and then used a diffuser to blow dry hair and liked how it held the wave. As my hair gets longer the curls and waves start to straighten, but then helped it hold through the day and wasn't too thick. I think in the summer I'll use this more after the pool or beach.

I can honestly say that while I did like how it made my hair look less frizzy, I wasn’t thrilled with how it felt. It may be because my hair is a bit finer or maybe I used a bit too much but my hair felt very weighed down and heavy. I don’t use gels very often either so I could recommend trying it out for yourself. It definitely tamed the frizz my curls normally have.

Not my absolute favorite scent, but it’s not bad and the fragrance doesn’t last long. For myself, I would not purchase. For certain clients, most likely. I wouldn’t discourage anyone from trying it.

I even used way more than recommended just to try to see how heavy it would be. Worked great against preventing frizzy. I still had to use a little something after hair was completely dry but my hair is super frizzy and I live in a very humid place.

I honestly don’t use enough curling products at the salon. I usually blowout my clients beautiful curls . Now I don’t always have to . By using this product my clients are able to enjoy their hair a lot more knowing that the gel will define the curls and keep the fly always locked down .
