As a stylist I wanted a new color do my friend also a stylist did my hair using pulp riot blue and pink, one wash later and one week the color was completely out of my hair. So I decided to color it myself using Cult and it had lasted 2 months so as a stylist who colors people everyday and also I love to have color I choose Cult by Matrix anyday!!!

The longevity along with pigment are of great quality. Here are pictures of my favorite color on two different clients of mine. One had the formula on for 13 minutes and the other for a full 21 minutes. The longer i left it, the more pigment it deposited. Love it!!!!! I had tried the bubblegum pink semi from the Matrix socolor line and liked it a lot but still found it faded quickly. After experimenting with the sparkling rose demi, its my go-to for my pastel pink. My color lasts longer and I can still acheive that pastel tone I wanted. Looks dark pink when processing but is very close to the swatch once rinsed. I’ve tried a couple more lines when experimenting with pop colors (pulp riot, joico, pop xg, etc.) and matrix socolor is my favorite so far.

It does oxidize very, VERY dark but thats becahse its demi of course. Definately my go to for all my fashion shades from now on.

Just warn your clients to always use shampoo for color treated hair so the color will last.

Then starting in back on the bottom we used Mermaid green, moved up to just above the occipital bone and used Royal purple, then used Admiral Blue on the top except one foil in the front I used Royal Purple, then I mixed silver marble and noir to smudge the root all over. I rinsed the color without using gloves and there was no stains on my hands. After sleeping on the pillowcase the first night she sent me a picture and there was no fading on the case at all.
