These are the “new packing tubes” and needless to say it isn’t any easier

Rated 2 out of 5 by from The tubes/packaging is the problem. The metallic tubes for the permanent/demi permanent colors are awful. They are too thick, it's hard to puncture, and the hole made is too small so whether you're hurting your hand trying to squeeze out the color, or using a color key, it wastes so much time because of the speed at which it comes out. It's not ergonomic, most brands tubes are normal/easy to puncture and extract. Also, usually from the pressure of squeezing, it pops from the other end/side and then you waste the color because it's leaking out and oxidizing. I tried them several times over a few years to see if they ever changed the tubes, but this was the last time, it's been the same forever.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from permanent color used this product for the first time and i am not impressed. i love kenra’s styling products, but the color line could be improved. the packaging of the color is not good, when you try to squeeze it out, it comes out of the top, making it very messy. it’s a gel-like consistency and does not smooth out when you mix it with developer. not easy to work with on the hair. pulls very warm!
