Third iron 1 year. CONAIR has HORRIBLE CUST.SERV
This is my third purchase of this iron in 1 year. They stop working , something is wrong with with the cord. I am currently on hold now for 30 minutes with Conair pro returns after speaking to a very rude operator and asked for a manager. This is ridiculous what they put you through and they want you to use their products.

I’ve gone through a couple of these hoping I just got a defective one. They never hold my hair. My hair always slips through the barrel at the end. I have med/thick hair too. This curling iron has so many great reviews. I thought it had to be me. Nope. Will never buy this brand again.

Spring is so loose even thick hair falls out. Doesn’t get as hot as it used to. Wish they would bring back the ceramic tools iron

This iron does get nice and hot, however, this includes the entire thing. Yes, the handle and the tip which is so tiny I'm forever burning my fingers. When I unplug it to cool and put away the handle is still hot long after the barrel has cooled off. It does not grip the hair very well and the whole thing is hard to hold on to due to slippery surface. I love this brand (I have one of their flat irons and a set of hot rollers) but this particular iron (and I have been thru many in 34 years) is terribly designed, unfortunately.

Great iron. Not sure about durability.
This is my all time favorite curling iron, HOWEVER , they keep breaking on me after only a year. Super frustrating .. they do have a 24 month warranty so this time around I'm going to be on top of things and send them in.
As far as use goes, it's fantastic. It has good slip. When compared to my bionic or my hot tools iron the curls just stay longer!

The worst curling iron I’ve ever owned
I bought the 1.5” barrel. I’m using it for the 1st time and notice every time I curl a strand my hair falls through the end of the iron. The pinch of the hair let’s go by the time you get to the ends because of the gap created by the spring so it’s taking xtra long for me to curl my hair. The cord is heavy so every time I put it down it almost falls off the counter because the cord drags it. Well I missed one time and it fell to the ground! The kick stand broke off completely and now I have nothing to stand it on. Thankfully it was on sale because I can’t return it and it’s garbage. Don’t waste your money.

Not the best.
It’s ok I was a little disappointed with it I returned the first one I got because it wouldn’t clamp my hair tight enough.. when I got the second one it was a little better but still not the best… wish it was different might be getting a different brand curling iron.
