What It Does

Gentle and effective way to remove Pulp Riot semi-permanent colors without compromise.

What Else You Need to Know

• Apply only to areas you want to remove old semi-permanent color

• Process up to 30 minutes at room temperature

• Quinoa, assists in the strength of luster of the hair fibers

How To

• Mixing Ratio: 1 part Blank Canvas : 3 parts developer : Pulp Riot 6 and 10 volumes are best, and sometimes 20 Volume

• Can be used on wet or dry hair

• Strand test is always recommended

• Will lighten natural hair

• Hair can be recolored immediately after using Blank Canvas

• Be sure to rinse thoroughly and shampoo prior to recoloring

However, if you do vivids often, since it does use developer, it will do damage with prolonged use, so I always embrace the fade and try not to use this unless absolutely necessary.

Was falling out in clumps every time I wash or brush it. Not sure if it was a bad batch or if my hair was at its breaking point since it was bleach blonde underneath the color. Will be taking a break from doing crazy colors on my hair because of this to get it back in better condition. Skipping the color and will be sticking to treatments for a while. Hope you have better luck I was so surprised being this was one of my favs.

I have also used it with 10 vol for darker colors works like a champion! Sometime will leave the hair with pale green but it is very easily cover with new vivids or neutralize with a warm toner. Only color remover I will trust and use

She had put manic panic pink over lightened hair and I used 20 volume promoter with it and it pulled it right out . The next time I will use a lower volume promoter because it did lighten her hair as well . Very happy with the outcome .

I thought this plus 6 volume developer would somehow only remove semipermanent color. I was wrong. It left me with "bleached" hair as far as I'm concerned. I'm not mad about it because it is still so healthy. But I was using semipermanent color in an effort to gracefully grow out my grey hair

I bought this product assuming it would do the same and i’m not sure if it’s because the direct dye I had was not of the same brand but it didn’t work as good as I imagined and it also lifted my natural roots (on accident it got on my roots lol) which I was surprised about that. I didn’t have the greatest luck with it.

It did remove the pink and the purple, but unfortunately it just made the blue green. I had to look for another product to get the blue out. It did however not damage her hair and it was very soft after.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Tiff from Blank Canvas- Always Heed Directions/Warnings Yes this product works very well, it removed the rest of my pulp riot semi haircolor although I would not recommend this for anyone who doesn't have all over semi color though as it does lift. I had all light blonde underneath but a brown base/roots and it lifted my brown roots to a strawberry blonde color. Like I said it works but you are only supposed to apply it to where you have the semi color. If you have a semi on and you have blonde hair underneath the color and just want go back to solid blonde then it will definitely work nicely for you. If I had darker hair under the semi I would NOT use this again and I would just wait for it to fade and use clarifying shampoo because it really does lift more than just the semi color.
